The place was renovated and looks alright, bed was comfortable and they supplied plenty of pillows, the bathroom looked clean but had this weird moldy smell, like a face cloth that needed to be washed. The odor came from the shower curtains. The buffet breakfast is free and you get what you pay for. I saw a bag of premade scrambled eggs go into a Tupperware container and into the microwave. Blech! The sausages were the worst I ever had. Stick to the toast. You make it yourself.
Doesn't claim to be The Ritz and it isn't but it is a very serviceable motel, conveniently located just off the 20. The bed was in great shape and while we were on the second floor, there are a number of key controlled access points so you can have reasonable access to your vehicle.I would echo what others have said about the staff. They were very helpful and warm. They seemed to take pride in what they were doing. The breakfast area was busy but well maintained with a good number of toasters, a waffle station and a selection of cold cereals. Peeled hard boiled eggs were readily available with hot eggs available on request. There was also a selection of fresh fruit (apples, bananas) that could easily be taken on the road for a mid morning snack. There is a St Hubert just across the street or with a short drive, you can access any number of very good restaurants downtown. We didn't do that this trip but have in the past.
Not bad at all. Very clean rooms. Hot breakfast with sausage and waffles. VERY comfortable beds. Good value for money. Will be our regular stop from now on.
Very dirty and no parking as the lot was full. Breakfast wasnt adequately stocked or available and there was no appropriate seating. Staff were not friendly nor did they speak English making communication difficult. It is not accessible if you are handicapped as there is no elevator. The queen room was actually a double. The 2 double bed room (we booked 2 rooms due to the size of our party) was so small and the blinds didn't close leaving a blast of sunlight walking you up at 5am. Carpet was disgusting and bathrooms weren't cleaned in the rooms. For the price of the rooms and advertising... I expected much more. We would not stay again.
Its a decent and inexpensive place to crash, with decent wifi and hot breakfast
